ZIBAWU has been at the forefront of workers’ rights advocacy in Zimbabwe’s financial sector for over 63 years. Established in 1961, we are a registered trade union dedicated to protecting and advancing the interests of workers in banks, microfinance institutions, building societies, and related financial services organizations. We stand as the united voice of nearly 4,000 members across all 10 provinces of Zimbabwe, fighting for fair wages, safe working conditions, and dignity at work.
Our mission is to unite and unionise financial services sector employees, protecting their rights and advancing their interests through provision of efficient and innovative services.
